nerve pain in lower left arm

Hi everyone, I have an irregular stabbing pain ( now and then) in my lower left arm. An ultrasound showed nothing was wrong so I am thinking that it’s probably nerve pain. Previously, about 10 years ago, I had trigeminal neuralgia on the left side of my face which was cured after surgery. Does anyone have any suggestions regaining treatment?
thanks, Liliana

Hi @liliana_rosa_hellwege and welcome.

The nerve damage caused by MS can cause all manner of sensory issues, where neural messages to and from the brain are getting scrambled.

There’s some details of this problem, with suggested treatments, here :-

Does anything trigger it? If you’re uncertain, keep a diary and that might shed some light.

It’s entirely possible that it’s MS-related, it could also be posture-related.

Hope you get to the bottom of it. 🙂

thanks guys for your messages. It’s probably related to my MS (nerve pain). I am seeing the doctor tomorrow and I am sure he will probably refer me to my neurologist who will consequently most likely prescribe drugs. Damm! Will this disease ever leave me alone?
