Living with someone with MS

Living with someone with MS
Hi I’m new to this site, wondered if their was anyone out there who was in similar situation to myself, married with young family ( we are in out 30s) living with a husband/wife woth MS in Surrey? It would be great to chat to someone in similar situation.

It’s good of you to join us on behalf of your partner.

I understand that living with a person with MS is difficult because you are suffering the consequences of this condition. There is also the problem of MS being an “invisible illness”, meaning that you can’t be sure how the different symptoms are playing up.

And, there’s the problem with us blokes. We’re just not very good at opening up about these things.

We do have some partners amongst our membership, together with some concerned parents. Although, they are in the minority. Hopefully one will come forward to say hello.

Alternatively, you could contact the local branch of the MS Society ( I’m sure they would have a support structure for partners.
