I'm back.

Hello everybody.
I have been away from this site for the past 3 years. My eyesight packed up and I couldn’t use a computer. Thankfully my left eye has returned to normal. right eye is still burred.
Has anything happened in there MS world in my absence?
I am reaching out to friends. new and old.

Lose my sight when I am relapsing, it always (up to now) comes back as soon as I start steroids usually in a few hours so I consider myself lucky, and by the welcome back😍

Losing your sight is a very scary thing to go through. I was put a steroids for over 2 years and thankfully all is now well. Foe now anyway.
Game of thrones is so much better now I can see what is happening.
Thank you for your reply.

Hi,

Great news about your eye getting better. I currently have optic neuritis in left eye leaving it blurry. Happy for you that you can watch your favourite programmes!

Best Wishes

I am happy your sight is back, your computer connects you to the world. My mother in-law lost sight in one eye about 6 months ago. She is elderly and refuses to even try to use her computer or go to therapy training. I try to help her when I can. If you ever lose your sight again there are computers for the blind. Of friend of ours son was born blind and ended up being a computer specialist at the Pentagon. Potter

The strange this is my blindness was not caused by the MS. It was the annual flu jab your doctor gives you. The flu jab caused a very strange reaction in my optic nerve.
I will not be having another jab anytime soon.
In my 46 years of life I have never had the flu so I did not need the jab in the first place.
Very annoying.
