Eye

Hi guys.
My left eye continues to twich upper eye lid and bottom, left side of the left eye.
I had plenty of sleep.
Been ongoing for 1 week never had this before.
Any one knows what this could be and or is it linked to MS.

Hi Jolea – I forgot I like this MS Resource. Your post top of list & it was an early symptom that sounds like a TWITCH I had that was soon after diagnosed as Facial MS spasm; Trigeminal Neuralgia for me.
Sorry if u r scared but if you have access to an MS Nurse Specialist I’m sure she’d reassure you too. If not then do go visit your G.P.
My twitch got treated & I do live with ongoing facial pains (also on my L side) all managed by oral drugs now.
Main thing is living with MS as we do, we are recommended to avoid stress. Hope yours get “sorted” soon. X

Hi @jolea – in my reply I forgot to say that I wasn’t sure my eye problem was caused by TN (Trigeminal Neuralgia).
I always check if the MS Trust have a leaflet on any symptom… 😁

Their is a link:

And you might also find this link a good read.

It’s 1am in UK & I’m awake with leg twitches 😏😆 so I’m back to sleep soon.

Take care & do rest X

@jolea yes I had the twitch in left eye doctor said it was bells palsy I don’t remember taking anything for it but it was a long time ago . It cleared up completely and hadn’t any issues with the face till earlier this year but thankfully that’s also cleared up. I would suggest that you keep track of all these little blips as they happen because I must put my hands up and say I forget quite a lot but in one way I see that as a blessing I never connect the dots and I very rarely think anything is ms related it’s just stuff that happens every now and then but then goes away and I’m left with no long term problems touch wood it continues like that as I don’t want to go down the dmt route not just yet anyway

Hey! I was diagnosed with PPMS last july. I remember having a mild form of this symptom around march/april. It resolved completely after a month or so after it appeared.
