Driving licence length

Since my diagnosis seven(ish) years ago, my driving licences have always been three-year ones.

That’s fine, as it’s normally renewed without issue.

I got my new one today and it is for five years. Has there been some rule change for MS people at DVLA?

@Declan , you’re not the first MSer that I know about, who has received a 5 year licence.

Perhaps the DVLA are being a bit more pragmatic. Either that or they are following the DWP’s view that we’re not really disabled! 😉
