Neuropathic pain is just one of the symptoms of MS. I get it most of the time. It’s like wearing wellington boots full of hot custard!
There are meds to ease the problem, Amitriptyline, Pregabalen (Lyrica)…….

It certainly seems to be, I now sleep with my legs on top of the covers or it feels like my feet are on fire! On the flip side, sometimes my feet feel like I’m stood barefoot in the snow! I don’t take anything for it as drugs and me don’t really mix (side affects always out weigh any benefits), so I’ve just learned to get used to it. Hardly notice now. Hope it doesn’t bother you too much. Cathy xx

Yeah my feet are hot at night time and cramp up but then through the day I can’t warm them up as they’re like blocks of ice.

Totally common problem-my feet and legs suffer quite often and sometimes my head, arms and legs…although I only take amitripyline when it’s really unbearable though as it makes me sleep around 12 hours a day (and could be more if I let it!!) xx

I sometimes can’t work out if they feel hot or cold!
