Been told its likely MS

My neuro spoke about going on dmds,so does that imply its gonna be RRMS?

@ironribs , that’s a fair assumption because DMDs aren’t offered to those of us with Primary Progressive (PPMS) and Secondary Progressive (SPMS).

But, you really need to ask your Neuro or MS Nurse, just to confirm. 😉

am waiting to see a ms specialist… is a ms specialist the same as a ms nurse?

MS Nurses are specialists in their field. They only deal with patients with MS. But there are also Specialist Neurologists, who specialise in MS.

They should be able to answer your question though. 😉

Neurologists are very busy people, so are difficult to access.

Now, MS Nurses should be more available, i,e, someone to call if you have an urgent question about a new symptom, etc.

So, an MS Nurse would be your potential first point of contact for all things MS.

Sorry about presenting a riddle. 😳

No need to apologise-I’m easily confused these days…like very easily confused!! I keep getting new symptoms still so am awaiting the relapse-ing side of it…(long wait)

I thought that was what you meant.

It sounds like you need to give yourself a break and rest up a bit. Remissions do start, but only when they’re allowed to.

So, be nice to yourself for a bit. 😉
