Immunoablation and autologous haemopoietic stem-cell transplantation for aggressive multiple sclerosis: a multicentre single-group phase 2 trial

It’s a high risk approach, but gives amazing results. 1 out of the 24 people on the trial died, but 35% saw a reveral of progression and no new relapses were seen after treatment.

HSCT is being researched at the moment in the UK too, but it’s probably not the right choice for everyone given the risks.
