A little frustrated

Ok so here is my rant for the week!

Yesterday I was speaking with a security guy from my work building. He was saying how sore he is lately because of his arthritis. Anyhow after showing some compassion and saying I hope he feels better soon.

He says: Well you must know what if feels like?
I answer: Well me it’s a bit different and I go on explaining how MS is actually caused by the nerves in my brain…

And then he answered: Well I wish I had that instead!

WHAT?????????

I don’t want to say people with arthritis don’t suffer but why would you say that MS is better!!!

The other day I spoke with a friend who has a very visible physical disability (not MS) that affects her walking. She’d just spent the week on a course with a woman who kept telling her that her egg allergy means that she is disabled. Some people just don’t think things through…
