Digital Marketing Manager (SEO and video focus)

Why are we looking for you?

Shift.ms is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager with a track record of successfully increasing reach of digital content to join its team.

You will be tasked with reaching people with MS as soon after diagnosis as possible – the time when Shift.ms has greatest impact.

 

What is Shift.ms?

Shift.ms is the social network for people with multiple sclerosis (MSers)
which aims to support the recently diagnosed. The organisation is currently a team often, and the community – www.Shift.ms – has 40,000 monthly users from all over the world.

This position is based at the Tech Hub at Platform, above Leeds train station.

 

The day to day:

Working alongside the internal team, the Digital Marketing Manager’s primary objectives will be to:

  • Increase membership at www.Shift.ms
  • Disseminate Shift.ms’ video content to the MS community

 

Key elements of the role will include:

 

SEO and content marketing

-Transform Shift.ms’ SEO strategy
-Outreach through influencer engagement and syndication
-Increase conversions from website visitors to registered members
-Project manage Shift.ms’ quarterly content season campaigns
-Monthly reporting and analytics

 

Video dissemination

-Enhance use of video content on www.Shift.ms
-Optimise YouTube channels and content to increase reach and engagement
-Refine dissemination and advertising strategies on YouTube and Facebook
-Work with the service design team to increase engagement of all video content

 

What you’ll need to bring:

-A demonstrable track record of providing ROI through SEO strategy
-Content campaigns – Researching, strategising and executing creative content campaigns
-Expert in web analytics tools – Specifically Google Analytics and Search Console
-In house technical SEO – Use tools to identify site issues and work with the developer to implement changes
-Keyword research – Score keyword opportunities based on an impact, confidence and ease scale to determine where to focus first
-Outreach – Establishing an efficient outreach strategy
-Reporting – Clearly report on a monthly basis the progress and new goals on all SEO projects and core keywords
-Experience managing AdWords and YouTube advertising campaigns
-Experience managing Facebook Ads campaigns

 

Other information

Hours: 37.5 hours a week
Contract: 24 months initially with opportunity for extension
Salary: £30,000-35,000 per annum dependent on relevant experience
Annual leave: 25 days per annum (plus week off between Christmas and New Year), plus public holidays
Office location: Platform, New Station Street, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 4JB
