EMG Nerve Study
Has anyone had an EMG nerve study done before? What does it feel like? How did your nerves react to the test. Having issues with progression. It’s happening too fast dr said. Could be something else in my spine.

I had one before I was officially diagnosed with MS. It was one of those things they did to get my diagnosis. It's like an EKG where they put patches on the nerves they want to record. And there was a needle involved at one point in my legs, but it was very small and only felt like a pin prick when she placed it. From there, I didn't feel much of anything - a few slight pin pricks here and there when she stimulated the nerves. But evidently the electrical stimulation was recording something because I saw it on the screen. Short of the discomfort of sitting there with patches all over your body (legs, in my case), there wasn't much other discomfort at all.
I have not had that procedure. It sounds like your neurologist is paying close attention to your case, so I hope you receive the answers you are looking for. Best of luck 🤞🏾!
