I don’t know the answer to your question, but I did get shingles before I had the opportunity to have the vaccine and THAT definitely was not fun ;/ I hope you feel better soon!

I had the Shingrex vaccine in two parts at end of last year. Had some mild flu-like synptoms like chills and tiredness with the first one. But I do remember the second part really flooring me for at least a couple of weeks with an awful fatigue. I couldn’t start on my new treatment without having the vaccine first. As for vaccines affecting people worse if they are immunosuppressed, I’d say it would make sense. I was told by my nurses that being immunosuppressed doesn’t guarantee that a vaccine will be as effective for us.
