How to deal with nerve pain
My nerve pain is localized in my face. It makes smiling, laughing, talking, and listening to anything miserable.
Anyone dealing with this? The pain is so bad I fight tears.

I had nerve damage to one side of my face in a flare up two years ago, it felt like like my skin wasn’t there, my eye socket felt swollen like I’d been punched, yet in the mirror completely normal and occasionally it felt like Beatles running through my skin, it was intense and relentless for months. I also got lip spasms and dropped things at the same time which a Nuerologist told me is called tonic attacks. I still get them now and often get weird sensations in my face or sharp pain. It’s very uncomfortable and absolutely nothing helps to be honest. I take amitriptyline and gabapentin which I can’t say is working right now though I should grow a pair and up my dosage.
