Tysabri
I was diagnosed in April of this year and due to the number and location of lesions, recommended infusion Tysabri once a month. I had my first infusion and felt like I had a hangover for a month with some heaviness in my legs. My second infusion was a week ago and three days after my infusion I woke up not being able to walk(tight joints, heavy and painful legs and feet)
my neurologist doesn’t think this is related to MS since my muscles are not spastic. I don’t know what else it could be.
I have had three hyperbaric chamber sessions an hour each and a lymphatic treatment the last couple of days and my mobility has increased
Has anyone else has a similar MS episode or injection reaction?
I did really well after 3 months on Tysabri. It worked like a miracle drug, but my JVC numbers were dangerously high, like 9x above their caution levels, so I had to get off. Give it 3-4 months, as it is a lot for your body to get used to. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed 🤞 that it works for you. Keep in mind though, if Tysabri doesn't work well for you, you may need to try a few different meds, until you get it right.
I was on it for two years, and would give anything to go back on.
