Awaiting Brain MRI results Thursday

So I have been having pain in my neck and along my spine. Accompanied with dizziness, bilateral numbness in hands and legs and feet, also slurring along with confusion, and slow auditory processing. Also what feels like bolts of lightning going down my spine, with limb heaviness and stiffness. Fortunately. Some of these symptoms have eased up and some of came back or newly appeared. I've had a cervical MRI and the Ortho said from that there was no way what he was seeing was causing my symptoms. So I had the blood work that rules out other MS mimics. It showed for me very high Ferritin levels and the jcv antibodies. But a negative on ana and other stuff. I did a Brain MRI and have a follow appointment coming up with the results and what next. I guess I really want the answer to what is going on. Thai have started in symptoms lightly last year I'd guess and I've been dealing the beefed up bulk of the symptoms for a little over 2 months now. I'm 39 for context. Is it crazy to said I wouldn't be mad if Ms was the case, but also a little scarred what if it's not. It just seems like what I'm going through lines up. Even the things I haven't posted. So to have a brain MRI that did show lesions would leave me cross road of what to do next. Pursue it further or what ever. I'm just nervous about the whole situation. This has been hell. To go from being fairly normal and healthy to straight down a path were it seems my mind and body is failing me

Hey, i understand how scary this can feel and the uncertainty. But be kind to yourself along the way and take it step by step. Wait for the findings of your mri on thursday. Its good they have ruled out a few things already. If its not MS your specialist will do other tests to see what it is. It is a very nervous situation to be in 100%. I get you with the normal to not ok… i was only diagnosed in October this year so getting use to a new “normal “. You’re not alone ❤️

I would say to pursue figuring out the cause. If it is MS there are treatments to slow down progression. If your MRI shows lesions don’t be surprised if they ask for a spinal tap to confirm. I would say start taking vitamin D3 and B 12 now. They will help if it is MS and won’t hurt if it isn’t. I hope you find answers soon.
