Active ms, your experience?

Hi friends I was diagnosed with RRMS in November of 2021 I think (these past few years have mushed my sense of time). I had all the things, you guys know what I mean. Anyway, since then I have had two sets of MRIs. Since my first set last year (March 2022) my MS has remained active. I had several brain lesions and 12 lesions on my spine (in my upper/mid back but mostly in my neck) during my first mri, some active. This time I have many more and some active ones…something about some kind of lesion noticed with contrast? I forget what they said because I was shocked while they were telling me. I’m just waiting for my neurologist appointment to talk with him more. They are wanting me to start treatment immediately but I’m so scared of it. I’m wondering what your experience is with active ms? Does that seem like a long time for RRMS to be active? I’ve read they it should be about 8 weeks… my optic neuritis has since subsided and cog fog cleared but now I have more body problems. Bladder/bowel, legs etc… Anyone here willing to share their journey with me?

@Kristin I believe many are running the same course. Just run it out and try to stay healthy in the journey. Best Jorge

I ran from it initially. Looking back I see mine started 2005. 2008 MRI noted lesions. was active till 2009. Leaving tingling in feet as constant. Mild but there. Dormant until 2019. Symptoms started back in10/2022 noticeably stronger. Fully diagnosed 12/2022.
