13 years ago today I was officially diagnosed . . .

13 years ago today I was officially diagnosed with MS. I acknowledge this day every year for two reasons. The first is so I can say a massive thank you to the friends and family who have been there since the beginning (or joined me on the way) in supporting me on my journey living with this disease. Their love and support is invaluable. A kind word and their understanding means more than anyone can imagine. The second reason is so I raise awareness of MS and recognise that there are ways I (& my life) will be different - and that’s okay! “I have MS; MS doesn’t have me.” 🧡🧡🧡 I have also been thinking about how, even though I have lived with MS for a long time now, there are some things I still need to get better at. Accepting that some days I just need to rest is probably the biggest one I have to keep working on. It’s definitely a journey! Thank you to the community here too. We’ve got this xxx 🧡🧡🧡 #MS #ms #mswarriors
