Looking for wise words

Hello, I'm pretty sure I have ms, going to Moorfields tomorrow for probably optic neuritis and various other symptoms too. Ten days ago I thought I was fine - I'm 44 so that's adding anxiety. I know noone can solve this for me but if anyone has some words of courage, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you x

breathe ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ one foot in front of the other and the rest will follow. your on a journey your destination isnโ€™t confirmed yet and might not be. Donโ€™t Google you will scare yourself to death with all the possibilities, potentials and horror stories. if it is ms you will cope, adjust and adapt and the same if itโ€™s another health issue. take care of you and yours ALWAYS and this community, ms trust, the ms society and ms uk is here to support you as & when needed . Try not to overwhelm yourself and good luck ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š

Hi @Hats79 I hope your appointment gives you the information you need and a direction towards a firm diagnosis/treatment plan. I remember being that position and I just needed to KNOW. Be prepared to not get any answers immediately and probably lots more tests over the next few weeks and months but whether or not it turns out to be MS, you are not alone and you can and will get through it. It will be hard and there will be good days and bad ones, probably a lot of bad ones at the start but you life isnโ€™t over and it will be ok. There are lots of people on here and in other MS groups who get it and will be there for you. wishing you lots of luck - please feel free to message me if you need to chat x
