I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself after recently joining the site. I have RRMS and am currently not on any medication not sure if this is the right path? I was mis diagnosed 10 years ago after s bout of optic neuritis then in 2011 suffered uveitis in both eyes and various tests confirmed MS. I just wanted to reach out to introduce myself as locally to me there aren't many groups to connect with - thanks for listening !
Hi! Very nice to meet you, although I'm sure you would rather not be on this site! The people on here are lovely and I'm sure many more will introduce themselves. I'm sorry to hear you were missing diagnosed. However, I'm glad they have got it right now! I was diagnosed last year and it seems I have rapidly evolving relapsing remitting ms as I had 5 relapses in 4 months. I was then hastily put on Lemtrada. I hope you take time to come to terms with your diagnosis and that your ms is kind to you. ? Chloe x
Hi @gcwh and welcome! I'm fairly new here as well and seems to be a nice bunch on here. Glad they finally got to the bottom of it for you though I'm sure you would prefer it be something a lot less intrusive on your life than MS. I've been dealing with RRMS and all the joys it flings in our direction for the past 11 years so if you're ever needing a chat just ping a message my way. Take care David
