COVID vaccine worked as a Catalyst to bring up MS?
Let me start with saying i am not an anti vaxxer . But i first got vaccinated with Moderna (i guess) in 2020.. then i was 27... fast forward i had optic neuritis in for the first time in 2022. later i was diagnosed in 2024 with MS.
Ever since i have come across a number of people who got MS after 2020s, and no one in the family had MS.... Often people developed optic neuritis after a cold/fever in 2022s and onwards.... I dont know if its the "red car theory".. i.e you start noticing the same thing in the society of it affects you....
Just makes me think the vaccine modifed the bodies immunesystem to identify its own protein as foreign body. Just a theory.... curious to see what other think.
Ummm I to don't want to be seen as a tin foil hat wearer but my journey is very similar to yours Pre COVID very physically confident and capable person ( ran my own blacksmith business and used to teach on the only blacksmith/ artist degree course Now need a stick to cross the room! Obviously I don't know what caused my MS but the timeline fits in very well with COVID But it could just as easily be concerned facts Who knows?
I got MS and Optic Neuritis before Covid and the jabs. So i don't believe for a second that they are to blame for you developing ms. Optic Neuritis is one of the first signs of ms. You probably had ms for years before even knowing. The lesions that i have had been forming 10 to 15 years before the first sign, which for me was Optic Neuritis. I think it was the Epstein Barr virus as i had Glandular Fever when i was 19. Diagnosed at 44. I had no clue i had it. So in short, you've probably had it years but didn't know
