Bladder/bowel issues??
So my last relapse was in October and I’ve been doing really well since then, I had a steroid IV for treatment. But the last three weeks I want to say, I can’t be away from the bathroom for more than half an hour. It’s almost like my bowels aren’t holding onto anything and my bladder always feels full? I know an over sensitive bladder is common, but I’ve only really ever heard of constipation as an MS issue. I don’t really have “bowel movements” anymore.. it’s just kind of constant. Almost to the point I will probably have to start wearing some sort of pad liner. Ugh.. hate talking about this but I know it’s just something that comes with the territory of MS. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow with my GP but I feel almost afraid to tell her because the appointment was supposed to be for her to write me back to work in long term care. Now I’m realizing I don’t think I’ll be able to if the next three weeks are like the last. :(

Bowel and bladder issues are common and if you are on a DMT I understand some of them compound the issue. There are offsetting Rx that many take, or watch your diet or your bowel hygiene. Many with the issue find ways to manage it quite well. I have learned to pretty well but now am working from home with an office next to our powder room so that is kind of cheating ;-) But I'd let the GP know your concerns and they will likely refer you to a specialist that will find something to work for you- For some ideas check out what the MS societies say or Dr Boster - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63hl9NOd22E Good luck- Hopefully you can work through but I'd opt for discussing it with your GP...They like to get us back to work ;-)
I wish I could experience that I got a problem with constipation
