It has just occurred to me that you would never know if a DMT has changed your disease course ?? How could you ever know as we’re all different and experience different symptoms ? How could a neurologist /doctor advise which one might suit

True. I think it’s a case of risk management. The neurologists advice can be according to what they can prescribe, as dictated by local guidelines. I had to try a low efficacy medicine before I was able to get the one I wanted. Unfortunately not all DMTs are equal 🤷♀️. It means we have to become healthcare professionals and advocate for ourselves. Good luck with what you decide.
