I’m looking to move to a different city and wondering what it’s like to move hospitals or trusts within the uk/nhs as a result of moving cities. My MS nurse says that once I leave here I will have to move my treatment as well since they will not be able to serve me as I’m outside the catchment area for this specific trust. The process of moving, he metioned, will be driven by my GP. I am a bit concerned with this as I am aware it takes quite a bit of time to get referred again to a new neurologist and start my whole treatment plan again with someone else. Anyone else had experience with this? Should I be worried? Any advice is welcome - thanks in advance :)
