I've finished two treatments of Mavenclad, that two courses of treatment year one, a year break, two courses of treatment year three and then another years break. They will monitor your blood incredibly closely during treatment, my bloods were sent off to a lab in Denmark who have specialist equipment, so they definitely take the monitoring seriously. I understand your reservation and it has to be your decision, but it was the best decision I made regarding MS treatment. I have had some minor new lesions and some of my existing lesions are slightly worse but I haven't had a relapse since treatment and my MS (RRMS) was considered highly active, it still is technically but the last 3 years+ are the only period since getting MS where I have had any kind of stability. My only experience with side effects was very bad fatigue and weakness, I was very careful about being around anyone who may be ill too as obviously your immune system is quite seriously compromised.
