JC positive
I got the results today, with my 1 year anniversary coming up on Tysabri next month.
I love this treatment and I don’t want to have to change but I will have to. I don’t want to be immunosuppressed I’m worried about getting ill or the prolonged use and risk of cancer.
Anyone else had this and would like to share their positive experience? I had to change medication this time last year I can’t believe I’m having to do it again.

You do not have to change off Tysabri just because you’re JC positive. I went to every 6 weeks instead of 4 which virtually eliminates PML risk. I also had more frequent head MRIs as a precaution.
Additionally there’s virtually no PML risk until you’ve had 24 infusions so you should have at least another year before you may want to switch depending on your titre
