Have you tried snacking on slow release energy foods throughout the day? Like nuts?
I found that when I wasn’t snacking, my energy levels dropped so low and the fatigue was overwhelming.
But when I started eating a handful of nuts every couple of hours, my blood sugar didn’t drop really low before lunch and peak so high afterwards. It’s really made a difference to me. Might be worth a try?
Good luck!

I’m medicated on Modafinil, but generally find that spreading your workload helps a lot. Full-time work makes this difficult as it doesn’t leave much time to do everything else. Stuff like cooking larger amounts and freezing some mean that you can save some energy by not having to cook everyday.

I think employment is having to get a bit more flexible as the strict full-time model really isn’t really suitable for many chronic health issues but there is a big push to get us all working. Some office based work is getting better as now many people can elect to do a day a week from home or just make up any time taken for extra breaks. That said, if it does get to a point where it becomes a very serious problem,we do just have to admit when we are just no longer capable of doing something that we used to and consider doing something else.

Adderal is my answer to my MS fatigue! I have a prescription for 20 mg 3 times per day. I have never taken that much but that is a reasonable dose to fight the fatigue. Other drugs are Amantadine and Provigil. Good Luck!
