Hiya, I flew to Paris in March with mine when I’d only been on them two weeks! The guy at the check in desk was a bit new and not really sure what to do, but once a supervisor came to help and I showed him my letter they were great. Took me to front of security queue etc. They’re used to it with diabetics etc so don’t worry. Have a fab trip. Cathy x

Hi! I’ve been through an airport about 4 times with about 10 copaxone injections. They have never even once asked me to open my bag and show them my needles and letter from the nurse etc!!

I’m the same. Been on plenty of flights and they’ve never noticed the injections in security. When I have mentioned ms at check in or booking they have been a great help with helping me to and from the plane. Have a great time in india – v.jealous!

I’ve traveled quite a lot with my copaxone needles and have never had any problems- I generally get the ‘new guy’ who looks slightly confused and nervous and has to go and check with someone else but other than that it’s fine! My letter states that the syringes shouldn’t go through the scanner which I think it what throws them- anyone else had this? Not sure why and it would be a lot easier to just shove the whole lot through in my bag? I’m guessig it’s a case of ‘chances are the xrays won’t affect the drugs but we can’t guarantee it so to bwe on the safe side we’ll make you draw loads of attention to yourself in the queue’!!

Hey there, i’m off to India soon for a long awaited holiday (can’t wait). Just wondering if anyone has been there and taken their DMD’s with them? It’s my first time going away since i started the DMD’s so i’m a little nervous about the airport etc. Thanks guys x
