No two people with MS experience exactly the same symptoms. While none of these symptoms guarantee that you have MS, some of the common symptoms are:
✅ Fatigue. "Tiredness turned up to ten".
✅ Numbness/Tingling. "Like my phone's always low-key vibrating on my leg".
✅ Balance Issues. "Like the end of a night out, but at 8am".
✅ Vision Problems. "Like trying on your grandma's glasses, #blurry".
✅ Spasms. "As if someone is tensing my hands for me".
MS is most commonly diagnosed in your 20s, 30s, 40s and is two to three times more common in women than men.
Shift.ms is a community of over 45,000 members sharing their experiences of MS. You can use the site to make the most of your appointments, learn and ask questions about the condition and speak to other people with MS about symptoms and treatment choices.
We believe that MS isn’t about giving up on your ambitions. Just rethinking how to achieve them.
