What is “eating well” on medication?

I see lots of people recommending to eat well before pills but what do you mean? Eat a lot? Eat vegetables? Eat protein-rich foods? Eat regularly? All of the above? 😂
@Highlander

I kinda try and make sure I eat something before I take my meds especially my DMT Tec but my wife keeps me on what can only be described as a healthy normal diet . But she makes sure I eat my vegieterables or I don't get any pudding 🤣

I would ask them to elaborate and ask them what they mean by "eat well"...usually we hear "maintain a good diet" or a "healthy weight". When I got advice like that when I was at the Mayo clinic recently I asked them if they felt any special diet helped control or influence MS. They said "not really". They said they weren't encouraging me to have a cheeseburger every day as they wouldn't recommend that to anyone being a responsible Dr. So- they just encourage the standard "healthy" diet they recommend to anyone. I have more of an issue with my husband who has really taken an "anti-inflamatory diet" and it has really helped him with UC symptoms. For several years he has had amazing check-ups but this year was not so clean although he feels so good. We'll see if this year was just odd. He is sticking to his healthy lifestyle despite my bad influence ;-0 and I am trying to be better...honestly.
