Webinar? Need to connect

Hey Team, just wondering if anyone knows of any MS ‘webinars’ I could participate in? -I’m feeling a little MS lonely lately so would be good to feel more connected. I had participated in the webinars on the MS soc site (anxiety/CV19/RTW) but none avail since end of AUG 2020. I value the support of my family and friends but I do feel the difference/benefit knowing I’m communicating with people with MS background. I have searched for local support on the MS website but non avail- Any recommendations welcome . Thanks a bunch

Hi @amysimpson

Sorry you’re feeling lonely ☹️. I have no news on webinars, but I’m around to chat to. I posted a long reply yesterday, but it appeared to have disappeared!

I don’t check back constantly, but will reply eventually if you post /msg.

I don’t have MS. I don’t know what’s it’s like to be you. I live with and love someone with SPMS so I have some insider understanding though, if that could help.

Take care Amy
🙂

@sophiesshift – Thank you for the suggestion, I consciously stay off social media and so I do not have facebook/instagram/etc so this webinar isn’t an option for me to attend unfortunately. Looks like will be a great session – sorry i’ll miss it :-(. Thanks again xo

@stumbler I usually stay away from the internet due to fear of misinformation- however, I trust this site… I’ve seen the great work YOU encourage and offer amongst this site and I trust you 🙂 – I’ve just watched what you recommended with AB and it def gave me the uplift/reassurance that was due :-). Very much appreciated. I value your insight a lot. Thank you xo

@amysimpson
…very interesting, I don’t use facebook, instagram etc.. I only signed up to Twitter a week ago, but haven’t gone back since finding this place. I don’t want to use them for so many psycho/social/political/data reasons. I hadn’t heard of anyone else like me (well, I suppose I couldn’t have! :-))until I found this site. I’ve read the same thing from two others here.

Glad you got your needed ‘uplift’.

The internet is ful of crap, best to listen to folk like @stumbler (John) for sage advice on where to look. Dr Boster is great as is Dr Beaber and they are both genuine sources worth listening to.
