Walking and FES

Went for a walk with wife and daughter yesterday and even with a "Foot-up" I struggled. Today I got measured for a "FES" and as there is no funding in my area (damn postcode lottery) I got a loan of one to see if it works over 2 weeks then it is £700 I will need to shell out! If it works it will be worth it so lets see.

Hi @watsoncraig having to paymyself but only about 1/2 of what you've got to fork out. Got to have a verucca dealt with. People with ms shouldn't pay at all for chiropody services, but the NHS does not deal with veruccas in any way shape or form. My gp has tried, as has my ms nurse, my consultant, everyone, all to no avail. I have trouble walking as it is, doubly difficult with one of the devils just in the wrong place. Going to physiotherapy to aid balance, but all is no good when in pain so I've decided, after 6 months of hell, to pay for it. I live on benefits so have to borrow the money, will take me a year to pay it back (with interest) Aren't our government great!👹😜

@Stumbler

@watsoncraig , I'd let your local MP know about this and get their comments.
