Uti

Hi guys just had a uti and 7 days of antibiotics. Rang the doctors to get a call back as I’m still having symptoms. Has anyone else still had symptoms after a week or so?

@tracey1980 indeed I have, usually it simply means that it wasn't the correct antibiotic for the particular infection that you had/have. If your GP sent a sample of urine for analysis they should have a result by now which says which antibiotic is correct for your infection. I would follow it up and get better treatment as the last thing you want (apart from the misery of a UTI) is for it to bring on a relapse. hope things improve for you

Thanks I did see a doctor he said the uti has gone just felt niggly but he checked me over said I was good so hopefully on the mend. Started taking cranberry tablets hopefully might help
