Hello, I recently made the decision to stop working due to cognitive difficulties and other symptoms. I just want to ask how being on this is for you? I'm due a health assessment soon to see if I'm fit enough for work atm, but I'm kinda expecting them to look at me and think there is nothing wrong with me and that I'm fit enough to work. Would just like to hear some people's experiences with this

@lukezni Hi use the magnifying glass top left and search for PIP. Buckle up it maybe a bumpy ride. I wish you luck....

@lukezni I know what you mean. I work 4 days a week now, but really really struggle with the brain fog and cognitive stuff. That in itself makes working hard, and then stressing about it also makes everything worse, but it's hard not to. I haven't had the pleasure of a health assessment for UC but did have one when I applied for PIP. As I suspected, it got rejected because I can walk ok. So I would really make sure you emphasise how bad you are on your very worst days. It was 2 years ago that I applied for PIP and I am just in the process of applying again, as my symptoms have got worse. This time I'm going to handle it differently. I'm not going to exaggerate, but I'm going to paint them a picture of my worst days. Good luck, I know it's frustrating xx
