Understand MS

Hi all, I’ve had 2 rounds of Lemtrada and have been doing pretty good! However in the last couple of week have had a few new things crop up. Stabbing pain in the side of my head but only lasted a day, intense seqeezing pain in my side but only for a few hours and loads more muscle twitches in my legs, at one point I almost fell out of my chair due to it! I’m in a position where I have not had any relapses since my first episode, which impacted a lot of places and landed me in hospital for a week, and was diagnosed 2 years later due to numerous new lesions in the MRI. I still feel like I don’t understand this disease. Is what I am experiencing new symptoms or have they lasted for too short a time? I know I should speak to my nurse but always feel like a time waster (my own anxieties not thier treatment of me!) Any thought to help me understand all this a bit more much appreciated! Petal xxx

@petal87 , understanding this condition takes time. Even then, MS is so unpredictable that we should always consider professional advice. The question that needs answering is whether this is MS activity that needs further investigation. The following article may help you to answer this question :- https://www.mstrust.org.uk/about-ms/ms-symptoms/managing-relapses If you're still concerned after reading this, then do contact your MS Nurse. This will then put your mind at rest. You don't want/need the stress of worrying about this. They will not see you as a time-waster!
