UK self isolation letter.

Hi I would like advice from fellow UK ms'ers please. I have rrms, and have been taking plegridy for almost 2 yes, I have not had a letter to say I should shield myself... That said I'm taking precautions by not leaving my house except for work. I work in a large factory that produces corrugated boxes for the food industry and my firm is actively creating packaging solutions for food parcels also. My site employs 300 plus people and as I work in despatch, we have 20 to 30 hgv drivers from across the UK and some for export from across Europe. My friends, family, colleagues, and boss are quite shocked that I'm not on the list, my boss has said I can have leave but it will be unpaid unless I get the letter. I've looked on ms society and trust website's and it seems that plegridy is not one of the more concerning DMT's at present. My question is should I bother my ms nurse or g.p. at the moment and chase a letter, I'm reluctant to do so, just because my firm won't pay me without one, as I know how stretched they are. Advice would be great. Any body else taking plegridy out there how has had a letter. Thank you all, stay safe.

@monks I'm afraid I can't give you a definitive answer but this might help explain better. https://sites.google.com/giovannoni.net/clinicspeak-dmt/covid-19-ms/covid-19-questions/q-should-i-self-isolate-because-i-have-ms?authuser=0 Sorry I can't be more use to you.

Hello @monks. Yes, our MSers have had our vulnerability re-assessed and seem to have been demoted. So, that's a good thing really. Is there any way you can be isolated in your workplace? Fortunately I can work from home in my job. It's really tough. I hope you get somewhere with all this. If you have to work, make sure your cleanliness is scrupulous. All the best :-)
