Trying for a baby and having Ms

I was wondering if anyone had ever felt any symptoms worse when they where trying for a baby or where pregnant I have RR Ms and I feel for me it’s time in my life to try for a baby I’m 21 years old and I don’t want to leave it to late Incase my Ms does get worse but I have read being on Tysabri infusions while pregnant is dangerous I’ve made my one an decision to come off them but have been told by my ms nurse and specialist this could do more harm than good but if I still take them and I am pregnant can be higher risk of miscarriage I just need some advice
@MamaWals

They don’t do trials with pregnant women. So there’s little information available on the safety of DMTs while pregnant. Yes, it’s my understanding Tysabri can increase chance of miscarriage. How it would affect a developing baby isn’t well determined. I’ve read it can cause anemia in the baby but who knows what else could happen?The only drug I’m aware of that’s considered relatively safe while pregnant is copaxone. What you decide to do is a very personal choice. I will tell you that if you have a baby, MS or not, it will mess up your body. That’s just how it is. MS will do the same. There are just no guarantees. So if you really want a baby go for it and be ready to deal with a new you. I was diagnosed after I had my kids but I clearly had relapses after each birth. But being pregnant, giving birth, and then having a newborn were all such a mess that the relapses weren’t the biggest things I was dealing with, if that makes any sense? Good luck getting pregnant!
