Treatment Day Push Back

Sooooo I'm on my third course of antibiotics to try and get rid of a bacterial throat infection. If anyone wanted to know a side effect of being on ocrevus this is definitely one of them. My immune system is f****d but on the plus side I haven't has a relapse in a while so it seems to be doing its job. With any MS medication its weighing up the pros and cons and not having a relapse definitely is worth a messed up immune system. However I was due my treatment on the 2nd Oct but they've had to push it back as its too dangerous to give me whilst I am sick. Lets hope the third lot of abs do the trick.

I was having that problem last fall/winter with Tysabri. They put me on an extended dosing schedule this summer and so far it’s going well. Hopefully it will even out if you stick with it. For me, I think the meds are worth it despite the constant sickness last winter. NEDA now and my MS was very active before I started the meds. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!
