The brain.

Hello Everyone, I wanted to ask a question about MS. I have a really close friend who also has this terrible disease. Her’s is different though. She stated that it is weakening the lining of blood vessels in her brain. She has 2 aneurysms because of this. Has anyone heard of this? Does anyone suffer from the same thing? Does anyone have any information on this happening and if there are any medications that could stop this from happening?. Usually it causes lesions in the brain I have them in my spinal cord so I’m unfamiliar with it. Any info would be great. Thanks everyone.

@kelly_hornick , Aneurysms affect blood vessels, lesions refer to areas of damage or scarring (sclerosis) in the central nervous system caused by MS. So, the two terms are completely separated. MS does not cause aneurysms, as far as I'm aware.

I know the difference. Her MS is weakening the lining of the blood vessels in her brain. (As her neurosurgeon had told her) I am just wondering if anyone else has suffered from the same thing.
