Taking annual leave instead of sick!

So i had an incredibly long day at work at the beginning of the week and I have not been able to recover! So much so I managed to do the 1 hour 15 minute journey to work this morning but just couldn’t concentrate and my mind just could not do the job! But I’ve had quite a lot of time off this year due to the diagnosis, relapses, appointments and due to have even more when I have the lemtrada next month! So despite feeling dreadful and not well enough to work, I used my annual leave to have a guilt free afternoon! Fatigue is awful and I just want to feel human again!
@Stumbler

@ew5514 , we can all empathise with you for feeling the way you do. None of us want to let anyone down, but we shouldn't allow ourselves to feel guilty. We didn't ask for MS. We didn't go out of our way to acquire the condition. So, why the guilt trip? Our employers should support us, making "reasonable adjustments" and allowing flexibility for appointments, etc.. Well, they should, in a perfect world. Fatigue is all about management, accepting our limitations and knowing that overdoing it one day, will hurt us the next........
