surgery/fatigue

Still fighting this rotten fatigue. Four weeks post total hip replacement and still feel like a washed out lettuce leaf. Fortunately I have a good husband who is doing practically everything around the house Had an m.r.i (brain) a week before surgery and seeing neurologist on Wednesday. Will be good to see if any changes and if he answers to this fatigue. How do you cope with it? Do you rest or try to carry on as you have no option? Hope you all enjoying your weekend as much as possible. Sorry I've started a new post but can't find previous.

@leighlincoln I have had ms for a very long time. One thing I learned is to listen to your body. If you are fatigued your body tells you to rest. Work rest times or naps into your daily routine.

@avengr13, couldn't agree more about listening to own body. I've also had this condition for a while (since the age of 19 and now 77) so I guess I'm just feeling the effects of the surgery. I do believe in the spoon theory. thanks for your reply.
