I was diagnosed in 2005 and put on Copaxone which was judged effective for the first 11 years and have been on Rebif after that as I kept having occasional lesions and relapses. I think I had 4 episodes. I didn't notice when some of my lesions appeared apparently. Whenever I had symptoms that lasted more then 24 hours I would head to my neuro and they would stick me in an MRI tube and thewy would see an active lesion and within a couple of days I would be set up with IV Prednisone grenades I could just hook to the IV line they put in me and I would get massive steroids for 5 days and then tail off pills for another 5 days. This was incredibly effective for me. Within a couple of days I think about 80% of my symptoms would be gone. In addition I had no issues sleeping and wasn't excessively jittery or hyper. Loved it but it isn't for everyone as I have heard on this forum. We are all unique unicorns ;-) if you put Steroids or Prednisone or Relapse in the little search icon in the upper left you will likely see a lot of different reactions and stories. The only issue I had is that the IV line that they would put in me was like for a preemie baby. My body would learn pretty quick how to shut that down as it saw it as an invader and would seal it up. When I would try to flush the line prior to hooking up the ball it wouldn't flush so I knew I was in trouble. Then I'd call the home health nurse that set up the IV and they would have to put in another. After this happened twice I learned to just insist they put in a larger line so it wouldn't "heal over" and then I had no issues.

I had 5 days of IV steroids back in Jan when I couldn't walk and it put me back on my feet. Started to work slowly within 48 hrs. It carries on working for a few weeks so give it time. It was miracle juice as far as I was concerned. May be different for everyone. Good luck xxx
