Spine lesion stimulation

Hi everyone I was at the chiropractor this week and found myself absorbed with a diagram of the spine that identified what functions each of the vertebrae is associated with. I noticed that C5 - where my single spinal lesion is located - is linked to the right shoulder. For years I've had chronic pain in my right shoulder, and upper back and neck more generally as other muscles compensate. I'd assumed that too many hours spent peering into my laptop was the issue, but now I think it's also connected to my MS. I'd like to explore the impact of external stimulation of the lesion area on reducing my shoulder tension and pain. Does anyone have any ideas or information on methods for external lesion stimulation, preferably validated by research findings? Massage and acupuncture spring to mind but I wonder whether there are more powerful options. If I could afford stem cell therapy I'd target this lesion first because of the persistent discomfort, but I can't. Thanks,
@Stumbler

@beefree , before you start looking for solutions, wouldn't it be wise to understand the nature of the problem first. Hopefully, the following may give you another view :- https://www.mstrust.org.uk/a-z/pain

Thanks @stumbler, yes, of course. I'm up to speed on the MS pain literature, including this information from the MS trust. I'm pushing a bit further. Still on the look out for information and ideas on methods for external stimulation of lesion areas, if anyone can be of help? Thanks.
