Some relief

Good morning everyone! I have been going through a horrible battle with anxiety, I can’t figure out what is causing it I have been working with a therapist but unfortunately she was not helpful in any way (picked the wrong person) I started to read a book I found, while doing research. ITS Clled MS AND YOUR FEELINGS by Allison Shadday. WoW!!! I,m so impressed and it has already been very beneficial it has great experiences and exercises to help us and our families. I hope you will check it out whether you are new DX or a veteran it is a must read. Have a great day and thank you to everyone for sharing.

Im sorry to hear you have been feeling anxious. I think a lot of people on here will empathise with you. MS has affected my mood tremendously over the years. I worked out that the lead up to relapses would often be an increase in anxiety and depression. Thank you for the heads up about the book…I will give it a try

Hello @sarah_legleiter! I too deal with anxiety and depression. I am sorry a therapist didn’t work out for you! 🧡 I absolutely believe you must be compatible in order to be successful or it just will not work.

@sarah_irwin – I am so sorry that anxiety has caused so much for you that it lead to a relapse. That is horrible! I hope you have a better support system now?

As a community, I believe any resources available should be shared so we can help one another – So for that – Thank you for the information on the book! 📙

Side note because we all need to laugh:. I’m so tired that I typed into the search bar “It’s Called MS and Your Feelings.” 🤯
