Sick and tired of being sick and tired

Next week is my two year anniversary of being sick. It came on with a huge entrance: severe muscle pain, and large spasms on the right side of my body. My hearing intensified and my vision became extremely sensitive. My balance was one of the first things to go as were the migraines I suffered with for over 20 years. In their place, however, was the most bazaar brain buzzing that I could feel creep from my left temporal lobe across to my frontal lobe in slow motion. Within days I also lost my ability to speak clearly because I was unable to get the words in my head to my mouth. For weeks I spoke like I had had a stroke. Lastly, fatigue has been my constant companion ever since. My Dr. at the time did one MRI w/o contrast (which came back normal) then he told me that perhaps he should refer me to a Psychiatrist. I fired him. For two years I searched for a Dr. and for two years I ran around in circles listening to all kinds of bizarre theories on whats’ going on. I finally found a Dr. who actually listens to what I have to say and she is working with me. So far so good… except today I went for a new set of MRI’s w & w/o contrast on the brain and w/o on the neck. Both the Dr and I believe the symptoms correlate with MS but we need confirmation before we can move forward with treatment. The results say that my brain is HEALTHY! Yay… I should be excited, but I am not. OK, so am grateful that I don’t have a brain tumor, TIA’s, Parkensen's or stroke. Wha Hooo…. But what is it then? Where do I go from here? Can you have MS and not have lesions? Can this Dr., who finally seems logical and caring be way off base in terms of the condition? I’m confused and frustrated. I just want to know what is going on inside my brain & body so I know what I am dealing with. I believe that knowledge is power and right now I just feel helpless. Has anyone else gone through this too?
@Highlander

Hi.. Have you had a spinal tap/ lumber puncture yet? It may be hiding out in your spinal cord. This link gives you an explanation. Hope it point's you in the right direction. https://www.mssociety.org.uk/about-ms/diagnosis/the-tests-for-ms

Thank you @highlander. I just learned about these today and I will be discussing this with my Dr. tomorrow at my appointment. Also, thank you for the link to the MS Society, it looks like a great site.
