Severe pain in left thigh, a relapse?
Hi fellow MSers, just wondering if this frankly severe pain in my left thigh that came on two days ago as I got out of bed is a relapse or something else just to complicate things?
It is there all the time and 30/500 co codamol, the strongest think I have to hand does not touch it.
Diagnosed a couple of years ago and been extremely lucky to have only really had some headaches and visual problems, though obviously been going on for longer, just wondering if this is a bit of payback and will now be the norm. Slightly complicated by a C5-6 Mobi-C disc replacement as there was much debate over what was causing the pins & needles in my legs and numbness in my left hand.
Will be a call to my Doc and probably MS Nurse when they open.
Any advise or guidance appreciated.
Cheers

@edwardclough , you need to understand the types of pain associated with MS. The following may help:- https://www.mstrust.org.uk/a-z/pain Your MS Nurse is probably best placed to determine whether you need the help of your Neuro, your Doctor or another medical expert.
@stumbler thanks much appreciated, have left a message for the MS Nursing team, as you say they are the key contact. Have seen GP, there are a couple of good ones at our practice, got some anti-inflamatories and pain killers, just to help but looks likely that it isn't MS related. Will see when the MS Nurse gets in touch. Link was helpful will take a better look later. Much appreciated
