Same old

Really struggling at the moment Got 2 boys and have bought them up on my own for the last 24 years The eldest is my carer now and the other one is at a youth hostel and has adhd. In fact whilst doing this I realise how alone I am and depressed about life Who’s gonna want me😢

Hello @sarah_woolley, sorry you are feeling down. It might help if you write more on your profile, so people can see who they’re talking to! Also, you could use the map function on here to see if there are other Shifters who are in your region. That might at least make you feel less alone.......

@ItsMewithMS

It sounds like you have done an amazing job and so much on your own! Be proud of that and your achievements. As to "who will want me?" focus first on the amazing person you are and put that out on the world! face it- everyone has something, everyone comes with some baggage and I assure you that much of it is worse than MS ;-) It sounds like you have a lot to offer and have done a great job with your sons. I agree - reach out and try to find some local support. In the US we have a "MS Society" and I suspect you are in Europe, there may be a similar group there. They may have suggestions and outings. I say try to get out and do things you enjoy and remain open to meeting new people and a relationship. Even if nothing happens at least you've had a good time ;-) remember- no one is perfect so they shouldn't expect you to be either. Just remain open to possibilities and go out and do what you enjoy and see who you meet on that journey-
