Hello @debbie_davies, sorry you’re suffering at the moment. Lucky you, having lived in sunny Spain! There is n rhyme or relapse to the cycle of relapse. But, this one has clearly hit you hard. Please don’t rush your recovery. I’m in your age group too, and sometimes it’s easy to blame everything in MS. We are growing less able to bounce back as we get older, so focus on quality of everything for now. Diet, sleep, treating yourself, not pushing yourself. Great that you’re starting meds next month, that gives you time to be the most healthy version of yourself that you can be. All the best x

@ItsMewithMS

Your timeline matches up so closely with mine. Diagnosed in 2005 with symptoms for at least 5 years before diagnosis. In RRMS stage until reclassed to SPMS this year. On Copaxone 11 yrs and then Rebif. Will start on Ocrevus in a week and a half. Have had balance issues last couple of months but there is no active lesion so they won't give me steroids. They have been very effective for me in the past when I've had activity. Did they check for an active lesion before you had the steroids? What new med are you starting soon? I wish you the best, rest and get better, get in as good of shape as you can, that is what I am trying to do.
