Rant about awwww

Wtf just had to cancel a booking for a long weekend with guests at a big cottage as part of my now postponed civil partnership celebrations, casually mentioned got MS so additional factor in not having large gathering due to COVID risks. Having mentioned cancelling party, not able to book the blooming ceremony no expression of sympathy definitely would have welcomed an awwwwww but no. Mention the MS and it’s multiple awwwws Just stop it with the awww please when I tell you I have MS.
@Stumbler

@strictlysoca , we just can't stop others expressing compassion. And, I'm sure you appreciate the sentiment really. It's just your frustration at the limits and restrictions being imposed upon us by the Pandemic Regulations. As if we don't have enough limits and restrictions imposed upon us by our MS! Chin up. Next year will have to be better..........😉

Awwwww thanks @stumbler. Why people can’t verbalise rather than awww it’s so patronising. A quick sorry to hear that or that must be difficult is all you need to say. I am all about empathy and even sympathy but awwwwww makes me rise up red Hope you are coping with this weirdness and you are your usual level self . All the best
