Raise funds for my MS blog and campaign

Hello everyone! My name is Miran and I’m an aspiring writer and blogger. As an MS patient in a country where the treatment is not available, I’m having a problem with working. As I type these words, my arms are already sore and my fingers are going numb. The MS society here just conducts seminars that talk about MS and not concentrate on patients.

I want to change that.

I’m thinking of raising funds so I can steadily work and focus on MS projects while I still can instead of forcing myself to work in my unstable job. You all know how hard it is when your disease steadily debilitates. I just need a safety net as I do it.

I also want to take treatments and show fellow MSers what it feels like. So how should I do it? Any advice?

@miranieva_buen

I am sorry to hear that you are unable to access treatment. I always feel very fortunate that in my country (UK) we have readily available treatment.

I am not so sure how much it helps, but I thought I would share the link to a blog that a doctor writes on. He is of the leading MS doctors in the world (perhaps when it comes to fighting to push the MS boundaries he is number 1).

And well, he is very passionate about the gap between the nations who have access to treatments, and those which don’t. Perhaps you can reach out to him and write a post on the blog about your country’s MS healthcare (or lack of it) and your own personal story.

I know a few of the posters on here have set-up blogs and perhaps they will be able to offer some advice with that.

Best of luck with your goals and dreams 🙂
