Pregnancy after lemtrada

Hi, I have RRMS and finished my 2nd round of lemtrada in november 2018. Recently had an MRI which was positive showing no new legions. I have 2 children which were born before my MS diagnosis. I am currently thinking of trying for a 3rd but worried it will have impact on my MS and wondering if any1 has any experience of going through pregnancy after the treatment and how they were during/after.

@ak24 , I have no experience of either Lemtrada or pregnancy (obviously 😉). But I would assume that you could receive both positive or negative responses, dependent on how successful the Lemtrada treatment was. I'd go with what your body tells you.

@ak24 I read your post a few days ago and I've been debating if I should reply but I'm hoping you're looking for all perspectives so here goes. I had successful Lemtrada in 2015 and 2016. It went so well and I improved so much I felt invincible. Unfortunately, the stress of redundancy brought on 2 relapses in March/April 2019 and I had a 3rd sucessful round of Lemtrada in July 2019. NICE has not approved a 4th round but I now understand Lemtrada is not infallible and I avoid stressful situations if possible. Luckily I applied for and got a new job that starts in Feb 2020 and I know that all stress can't be avoided but I realise that it was self inflicted because I didn't believe on myself. I have a child so I know that pregnancy (and after) is very stressful so I personally would not jeopardise the success of Lemtrada especially as you already have children. I apologise if my view is not welcome and I hope that more people respond so you have more opinions to compare. I wish you all the best in whatever decision you make. Keep well 🤗 xxx
